FOOD SAFE 1 & 2




FOODSAFE is a successful training program for students, workers, supervisors, and operators in food the food industry whether it be at the farm level, processing or retail. The Alberta Certification course emphasizes the primary culprits and improper practices that cause food borne illness, job hazards in food preparation and serving, pest control, sanitary practices, and the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) System. Alberta and local regulations are also discussed prior to the writing of the certification exam.

*Food Safe 1 & 2 is a recognized training course in Food Safety & Sanitation by the Minister of Health under the Alberta Public Health Act, section 32 of the Food and Food Establishments Regulation.
